Like an eagle's nest the Lodge is
nestled on a rocky hill, overlooking the beautiful
Bulkley valley. Our B&B home is a massive log/post
and beam structure with cathedral ceilings
throughout, finished in hemlock fir, balsam fir,
spruce, pine and red cedar wood.
Surrounded
by fields, trees and fresh air the
Logpile Lodge
is situated on 160 private acres right between the lively town of Smithers and the superb 32,000 hectares
Babine Mountain Provincial Park the
Lodge.
Our
guest rooms are cozy and comfortable, the
ones on the lower floor come with log walls and
posts, whereas the ones on the top floor have
cathedral ceilings. Each room has its own 3 piece
bathroom, a large balcony and big windows with a
fabulous view. The beds come with high quality
mattresses, Australian sheep wool duvets, down
pillows and cotton bedding - ingredients for a great
rest!
Start the day with a home-made breakfast
prepared to your liking. There is freshly baked
bread with butter and jam, tea, coffee and orange
juice, the typical Swiss Birchermuesli (with yogurt
and oats and lots of fruit), cereals and milk, bacon
and eggs - all your heart desires. Breakfast is
served in the Dining room from 7 to 9:30 am.
Your host family, Barbara and Christoph
Luther and their 3 children look forward to sharing
their delightful accommodations, warm hospitality
and the great outdoor experiences on your very next
visit to the Smithers area.

European
style dinners are offered a couple times a week. Our
goal is to prepare meals with quality ingredients
and fresh produce (organic where possible),
everything made from scratch and with a dash of
love. You’ll find some very soothing wines on our
wine list, most of them from BC.
