Toll-Free:
The name Knightswood came from the area in Scotland where Bill's father was born. The family emigrated to Canada in 1912; bringing the homestead's name to Nova Scotia. |
The Main House is the perfect place to relax and, like the Carriage House, is only fifteen minutes away from Halifax. The main house provides a tastefully decorated two bedroom suite with a library/ t.v. room, private bath, and an inviting living room offering guests the comforts of home...and more. The Carriage House offers a unique view of the gardens that surround it. The main living area is equipped with a Murphy bed, while the spacious loft has two single beds. Breakfast in the main house is a five course meal guaranteed to satisfy even the most discerning diner, pleasantly presented in our sunny alcove, on our large dining room table or on our spacious deck. Curl-up in front of a warm fire on a cool evening or enjoy reading in the well-stocked library of leather covered collectors editions and the latest bestsellers. The living room is a great place to enjoy the company of our other guests, meet the inn-keepers, or just "do your own thing". Please, no-smoking. Bill
and Norma Adams are both retired teachers who are, themselves, active
world travelers. Your hosts love the outdoors and enjoy meeting new
people. They look forward to your visit...
