Galiano Island is 12 times as long as it
is wide, being only 9 km. at it's widest, and is the second largest of the
Gulf Islands, after Salt Spring. This spectacularly natural Island with it's
artists'
community offers magnificent ocean vistas, some of the best wilderness hiking
in B.C., great scuba diving, sailing and
kayaking. Galiano also has
one of the most beautiful parks in the world. Around Sturdies Bay, not
far from where the ferries come in you'll find enticing restaurants, neat
little shops, bakery, kayak and bike rentals, and here and there around the
island you'll come across
interesting finds. Also scattered around the island you'll find some wonderfully hospitable B&B's. Come to Galiano and explore.

livingroom and fireplace. Bed & Breakfast rooms are king, queen or
single size occupancy with a separate large cozy sitting room with a
fireplace. The private forest cottage sleeps up to 4 persons and is self
contained with a private yard, private hot tub, deck and fireplace,
great for honeymooners.
